Barakah Miller is an author, grief advocate, and Visionary Founder of Riyah's House — a faith-based nonprofit created to provide compassionate healing spaces for women navigating grief, loss, and life reconstruction after trauma.
Born from personal loss and divine purpose, Barakah's journey began after the transition of her beloved daughter Ramiyah. What could have broken her became the foundation of a calling — to walk alongside other bereaved mothers and remind them that healing is not only possible, it is promised.

Through her own grief journey, Barakah discovered that faith, community, and honest conversation about loss could transform devastation into purpose. She became a voice for the women who grieve in silence, the mothers whose arms ache for children they can no longer hold.
It Is Well With My Soul is the culmination of that journey — a sacred guide written from the depths of lived experience, offering bereaved mothers a path through grief that honors both their pain and their faith.

Riyah's House is a faith-based nonprofit healing oasis founded in honor of Ramiyah — a sacred space for bereaved mothers of infants and children under 5 years old. Relaunching October 2026, Riyah's House offers grief support, healing resources, restoration programming, and community for mothers walking the most difficult road.
